So I have tried using this sunscreen like 7 or 8 times. Each time I have gotten more and more careful about how close I apply it to my eyes. I put a small dab under my eyes and tap/rub it all the way into the skin. Unfortunately, I still have a hard time leaving the bathroom after putting it on because my eyes are already stinging. I don’t know how it keeps getting into my eyes and burning every time I attempt to wear it (and keep wearing it with more and more caution).
I think I’ll have to lay this over half way full bottle to rest because if I can’t go throughout the morning or day without sunscreen in my eyes, it’s not the right product for me. Disappointed because I did really want to like it.
I wanted to love this sunscreen as it feels nice and does not pill like so many others with anti shine. However after wearing this sunscreen all day I got very bad contact dermatitis that has been all over my face for over a week, around my lips and eyes and nose are painful and itchy. I have never had this happen with any other sunscreen and I have used at least 5 or 6 other brands. I have been trying to figure out what caused this to happen in the ingrediant list but it is hard to tell the amount or percentage of the non active ingrediants such as phenoxyethanol - which is a known allergen - additionally there is quite a lot of Alcohol in this, at least 3 different forms which can also be extremely irritating to the skin. I have always trused Eucrin brand and it is marketed for sensitive skin and dermatologist approved. I was not expecting this severe reaction from one of their products. I am extremely dissapointed and have had to take time off work due to the reaction.
